E-sports will be transformative for the blockchain gaming industry
The blockchain-based gaming industry, also known as Web3 gaming, has been an area of interest in 2024. In November 2023, a report published by DappRadar in collaboration with the Blockchain Gaming Alliance indicated that the number of daily active users interacting with blockchain-based games had reached one million.
The USM ecosystem (RACA) is part of this transformation, and its games and activities boast thousands of daily users, with audience records of over 12 thousand people simultaneously watching shows and events in its metaverse applications.
A Statista study points out that e-sports, which are electronic gaming competitions based on the format of traditional sports, such as those organized by RACA in the USM, in its stadium and various districts of the metaverse, have become a “central aspect of gaming culture.”
