May to August 2023 were packed with significant developments and strategic collaborations in the USM ecosystem and its native token $RACA, further solidifying their position in the Web3 and metaverse landscape.
These four months saw a succession of strategic partnerships with educational institutions, announcements of monumental events exploring the future of the internet, and the continuous expansion of the USM universe with notable additions like the Venus Protocol.
The period was also marked by releases of important updates, enhancing user experience in the USM Metaverse and showcasing ongoing commitment to innovation. Initiatives such as the $5 million growth fund for Africa in partnership with BitValue Capital underscore this commitment.

The month began with a significant announcement: the partnership with the blockchain community at the University of Calabar. Additionally, RACA’s second anniversary was celebrated with an exciting campaign, offering exclusive prizes including a Mars Sports Car, Dinosaur, Female Pirates Avatar, and Snowman Avatar, with a total reward pool of 10,000,000 $RACA.
A monumental event was announced by RACA, exploring the boundless opportunities in transitioning from Web2 to Web3. This initiative brought together giants like Alibaba Cloud, Animoca Ventures, BV Capital, OSL, Cyberport, HashKey, IOST, and, of course, our very own $RACA, to discuss the future of the internet.
The following month, June, witnessed the latest addition to the expanding USM universe: the Venus Protocol, set to welcome $RACA into its galaxy of markets. Dynamic partnerships were forged with the blockchain communities at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and the Blockchain Federal University Gusau.

LLJ 0.7.0 Beta was launched, bringing new features such as daily login activity for DID users, who receive rewards like mystery box fragments and cards.
The addition of new strategic partnerships with universities like the Blockchain University of Ilorin and the Blockchain Club at Lagos State University solidified USM’s commitment to building a better future in collaboration with academia.

Grand alliances were formed, with partnerships between USM and The Moment3, as well as announcements of $RACA listings on the BlockBank DeFi Wallet. Highlight activities, including the announcement of a major NFT giveaway and the recognition of the USM ecosystem as one of the notable projects in BNBChain GameFi in 2023, marked this month.
August:
The game Looki Looki Jazzi announced exciting updates, while the USM Metaverse enhanced the user experience with immersive transport modes and spaceship flights. New milestones were achieved with the introduction of update 0.9.11, unveiling the Open Skytop Island and gaining prominence in Coin Wire and BSC Daily research articles.
RACA and BitValue Capital launched a $5 million growth fund for Africa, highlighting the commitment to drive development and innovation on the continent.
